The official trailer for “The Exceptionals” is now live on YouTube!

Thanks to a change in the roster, there’s room for a three page story in Gay Terror #1. The deadline is reasonable since their are still two stories that are running behind scheduled. Think you can tell a creepy gay story in three pages? Here’s your shot!

Just as a refresher, this is what I’m looking for:

GAY TERROR is a mixture of  “Sex In The City” and “Tales From The Crypt” with a big gay twist.

All stories should contain four things:

1) A wicked, dark sense of humor.
2) LGBT character(s).
3) A hint of romance, but it doesn’t have to be a major story element.
4) Something to truly fear or a dark twist at the end.

This story should be exactly 3 pages in length and must be self contained with a beginning, middle & end.

Please check the FAQ for more information and technical details such as size, format, etc.

What I don’t want, is porn. Plain and simple. R-Rated is okay, but no full frontal nudity. Hot guys (or gals) in their underwear are perfectly acceptable and encouraged.

Today is the last day to claim your spot in Gay Terror #1. If you have something in the works, I need to know today how many pages it is and when you’ll have it ready. I may extend the deadline if the time frame is reasonable, but really I want to have this comic ready to submit by Black Friday.

If you can’t make it in time for Gay Terror #1, fret not! I’ll be posting guidelines for Gay Romance #1 soon! Gay Romance is like Sex in The City meets…well…Sex in The City! I’m looking for stories about love. Good love, bad love, funny love. Go nuts! Just, please, keep it PG-13. There are plenty of porn comic publishers out there – God bless ‘em – I’m just not looking to be one of them.

As for other projects, Michael Troy and I will be working on The Exceptionals throughout the early part of 2010. Heroscribe Comics won’t be publishing The Exceptionals, but we will be offering it either as a webseries or an ecomic. More details to come!

After The Exceptionals is wrapped up, Michael Troy and I have plans to do a story called Hero Envy which guest-stars Pragmatic Man and Party Boi and gives the dish on how Flaming Arrow gets his new look.

Least, but not least, the third book in our genre line will be Gay Adventure #1…but…um…I still gotta get the first book out first!
